As in most industries, an esthetician salary usually starts off on the lower end. The esthetician salary depends mainly on where you live and the position you are hired for. Larger cities tend to pay more than smaller towns. There are some instances where you could make a higher esthetician salary if you are hired in a more elite salon or medical facility.
