Most beauty schools offer their own cosmetology grants as well. There are numerous schools that offer grant programs to their students. It is best to do research on each of the technical or cosmetology schools you are interested in attending in order to learn more about the cosmetology grants the schools have to offer. Once you’ve done the research and have applied and been accepted to a Cosmetology School, your best source of information regarding cosmetology grants is the school’s financial aid department. They may be able to guide you in applying for local, state and federal cosmetology grants in order to help you get as much funding as possible.
The American Cosmetology Education Grant, one of the most well-known cosmetology grants, is funded by the American Association of Cosmetology Schools. This grant is available to students through their chosen cosmetology school. To apply for this grant, you may need to go through your school’s financial aid office.
